NCIAE Signs Cooperation Agreement with FOM University of Applied Sciences in Germany
On the afternoon of May 18, the North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering (NCIAE) signed a cooperation agreement with FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Germany, officially establishing a partnership. The signing ceremony was attended by Hou Jianguo, Second-Level Inspector of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education; Ji Zhenqi, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange at the Provincial Department of Education; NCIAE President Han Wenzhong; and representatives from the university’s International Exchange Center and School of Economics and Management. The ceremony was hosted by Vice President Chen Gang.
The agreement marks a collaboration between the two institutions in joint master’s degree programs. Building on this foundation, both sides aim to further expand cooperation across a range of areas, including faculty exchanges and joint research, while deepening their overall partnership.
FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management is located in the Ruhr region, the industrial heart of Germany. The university offers programs across disciplines such as economics, management, law, science, and engineering, and is home to ten accredited research institutes and eleven research centers. It is one of the largest and most influential private business schools in Germany.
The signing of this agreement creates new pathways for students seeking to pursue master’s degrees and marks an important step in NCIAE’s efforts to align more closely with international education standards. The two universities also reached broad consensus on curriculum content and teaching methodologies.
In his remarks, Inspector Hou Jianguo extended congratulations on behalf of the Provincial Department of Education and expressed his hope that NCIAE would continue to engage in high-level international cooperation in talent cultivation, education, and scientific research, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes. President Han Wenzhong signed the agreement on behalf of NCIAE. Prior to the signing, participants engaged in detailed online discussions, exchanging views and conducting in-depth conversations on faculty and student exchanges, as well as research collaboration in areas of mutual strength.
